DAY #1 – Friday – Depart your Country
Board your flight to Quito, Ecuador, a land of contrasts, history and warmth.
At arrival, we will pick you up. And will take you to a beautiful hotel in Downtown Quito.

DAY #2 – Satuday
Welcome to Ecuador! Late in the morning, we will visit “La Mitad del Mundo”, (At the museum at the middle of the world you will see all the “ethnic” backgrounds this beautiful country has. You will experience the people of Ecuador, their costumes, and their cultures. Later, we will meet for a “Welcome Dinner” and a tour of “Quito at Night.”
DAY #3 – Sunday
We will go from Quito to the great Cotopaxi National Park, where we will go to a museum, a “Liopungo Lagun”, and take pictures of the great Cotopaxi Volcano.
Before dinner, we will have a Spanish Class, learning vocabulary that we will us on the tour tomorrow. We will rest in a beautiful Bed & Breakfast.

From Monday to Thursday, we will have daily Spanish Classes
8:00AM to 10:00 AM - We will provide Spanish classes, learning new vocabulary, conversations, listening, grammar, conjugations.
From 6:00PM to 7:00PM - We will discuss our day, and we will answer any vocabulary questions you may have. | |
DAY #4 – Monday
We will do community service in the surrounding area of Tanicuchi, bringing books, notebooks, maps, etc., in English for the native children, parents and teachers. After lunch, the locals will teach us an indian technique of making Allullas y Queso de Hoja, a typical food from Latacunga. One of the dinner treats will be our homemade cheese and bread.
DAY#5 –Tuesday
We will go to a “Floricultora,” were Ecuador grows the flowers it sends to the USA and Europe. You will remember this excursion next Valentines Day, admiring the flowers that are very probably from Ecuador.
Later in the afternoon, you will get an opportunity to work at (or just see) the “ordeño” of the “Hacienda” near by, where they grow worms for their rich, organic fertilizer.
DAY#6 –Wednesday
We will learn the most famous craft Ecuador can offer; we will learn how to weave the typical Ecuadorian baskets. Later, we will go to a little village known for leather work. Did we forget to mention, the shopping will be great?
DAY #7 – Thursday
The morning is free to rest and to enjoy the relaxing environment of X. After lunch, we will see how the natives process “Pinol,” called the “food of the Gods, full of protein, vitamins, and nutrients. Later, we will visit the huge kilns used to make world famous Ecuadorian ceramics. Oh, and the shopping will be great.
DAY #8 – Friday
We will arrive in Quito where we will have a free morning and afternoon. There is time to wander the city and go shopping to and buy your love ones a memory of Ecuador. This evening we meet our guide for dinner, and a “Despedida,” a fiesta to say “farewell.”
DAY #9 – Saturday - one last tour.
On to the famous Indian Market, “Otavalo,” where you will be able to buy llama & wool products, sweets, paintings, etc. at the most incredible prices,. We will come back early enough for you to have time to pack your bags and rest before your trip.
DAY #10 – Sunday - Departure
If you are not staying in Quito, we will take you to the airport very early for your trip the incredible Galapagos Island, or to the airport for your flight home.
