Important Note: 

Pay attention how in this small introduction about myself, I change tenses from sentence to sentence. I go from Present to past, to past participle, etc.

That is the reason you have to learn "most" of the tenses at the same time.

Yo soy Belen I am Belen
Yo soy de Ecuador I am from Ecuador
 Yo he vivido en Los Estados Unidos por más de quince años. I have lived in the USA for more than 15 years.
 Y desde mi primer año de universidad, yo he dado clases de español a personas que quieren aprender sobre mi idioma y mi cultura.  And since my first year of University, I have given Spanish Classes to people that want to learn about my lenguage and my culture.
 Yo nací y crecí en Ecuador I was born and raised in Ecuador.
 yo viví en Ecuador hasta los diez y ocho años. I lived in Ecuador until I was 18 years old.
 Luego, vine a Los Estados Unidos para estudiar en la universidad.  Then, I came to the USA to study in the University.
 Y luego volví a Ecuador para trabajar allá. And then, I went back to Ecuador to work there.
 Ahora, estoy viviendo en los Estados Unidos, aquí en Carolina del Norte. Now, I am living in the USA, here in NC.
 El tipo de clases que yo doy, son más para escuchar y para hablar. The type of classes I give, are more for listening and talking.
 En las escuelas o en las universidades, ponen mucha atención a todo lo que es escrito, a todo lo que es leído. In schools and universities, they put a lot of attention to everything that is written and everything that is reading.
 Yo pongo mucha atención a lo que es hablado, y todo lo que es para escuchar. I put a lot of attention to talking and everything that is listening.

Important Note:
It is very important that you know not only the "YO" conjugation.

Most of the time, we don´t talk about ourself "all day".   
We also talk about other people or with other people. 

Also, pay attention to how formal you speak to people.  Use tú for informal, and Usted for formal.  ( In my recording I used the informal conjugation, and in the recording below, Antonio used the formal form.)
